Do you know how rainwater is processed around our houses? Have you ever been aware of the large and complex sewer system existing everywhere in the city?

 

Inhabited rain is a proposal for processing rainwater differently. It is a system connecting to the downspout of the house and bringing rainwater into our domestic space. A series of unique objects do not only serve an aesthetic purpose, but also transport and retain rainwater for practical use. 

 

In contrast to the important function of houses——keeping the weather out, this project tries to challenge the boundary between inside and outside. In this way, people might develop a different connection with their living surroundings.
